What if I need to cancel or change my appointment?
If you need to make any changes to your booking then all you need to do is give me at least 48 hours’ notice and we can cancel or rearrange the session free of charge. Please see my Therapy Guidelines for more details.
Can I see feedback from previous clients?
Yes, CLICK HERE to read client testimonials.
Can I make a booking on behalf of somebody else?
Yes you can, as long as you have their consent. Therapy will not be very effective if the client feels they were coerced in any way, so it’s important that they fully agree to the process.
How long will the process take?
The length of time varies with each case, and depends on the severity and complexity of the issue. I recommend trying a single session to begin with, so that we can discuss your situation in depth and get a better idea of what you wish to achieve from the process. Subsequently I would generally suggest considering a minimum of 1 session per week over a period of at least 6 weeks.
For best results I recommend a regular schedule of sessions to ensure consistency and increase the effectiveness of the therapy. However, I won’t pressure you to come for any particular amount of sessions. Ultimately, it’s your decision how long you wish to continue.
How long do sessions last?
Sessions last for 50 minutes.
Can I have longer sessions?
Yes, you’re welcome to book a ‘double’ session. This can be particularly helpful if you have things you wish to discuss in-depth, or for hypnotherapy sessions which may need more time.
How do I prepare for the session?
It’s entirely up to you. Some people come highly prepared with notes of exactly what they want to talk about and what they want to achieve from the sessions. Other people just wing it and speak about whatever’s on their mind in that moment.
What happens during the sessions?
The sessions vary, depending on your individual needs. Some people use them as a safe confidential space to talk about whatever they need to. Others have a specific goal in mind and want more of a structured plan, with tools and techniques to take away. Or it can be a combination of both.
We can discuss what you wish to get out of the process during the initial session, and review as we go along.
What are your main specialisms?

Can you guarantee you will fix me?
As with all therapeutic or medical interventions, success cannot be guaranteed. However, I consistently see excellent results from clients who are highly motivated, actively participate in the process, and are willing to put into practice the strategies they learn during the sessions.
During the sessions we will collaborate together, utilising a range of interventions in order to reach the desired outcome.
For best results I recommend a regular schedule of sessions to ensure consistency and increase the effectiveness of the therapy.
